Members who participate in PERA

Recently one of the PERA's (Public Employees Retirement Association) computers was stolen which contained sensitive information.

If you participate in PERA (a small number of our members do) you have been sent a letter from PERA indicating that you can have access to the credit reporting agencies to enable you to monitor your reports.

With regards to your HPFCU account you need to do the following:

1. Monitor your accounts closely by using audio response or through our website. This can be done easily at any time of the day. If you don't know how to do either of these, please call us for assistance.

2. Take advantage of the offer from PERA to monitor your credit reports.

Again, this only affects a very small number of our members.
